Our goal was to maintain industry leading ergonomics and existing production costs, while expanding the user experience for all levels of users. This goal was achived by leveraging a modular system that allowed Dell to use the same tooling to produce several different levels of finish quality and functionality.
Anticipated first year production volume: 14 Million +
The modular system allowed us to offer a number of upgrades to the keyboard, including wireless charging, IO expansion, cord management, finger print reader, secure authentication and even voice assistant mic and speaker.
