Project Fuse was an internal exploration for Dell Next Gen within the Experience Design Group. Inspired by the flexibility and expressiveness of sport shoe construction, we adapted a design strategy to take advantage of soft goods’ strengths.
I provided design direction to our consulting fabricator in Portland, OR to produce working models used to validate usability criteria and fabrication methodology. This required multiple iterations and design reviews with VP of design.
